1. 简介
Pericom的PI5USB266是USB充电控制器IC，适用于不同应用，例如汽车和家用电器。PI5USB266 支持大多数充电协议便携式设备和USB设备可以有效地吸取电流进行自身充电。本应用笔记介绍如何使用PI5USB266设计用于汽车应用的双USB端口充电器（USB车载充电器）。此设计符合电池充电器规范 BC1.1 / BC1.2 和 YD/T-1591 中文电信标准。它还支持Apple 2.1A充电模式等非标准协议。
2. 概述
 
输入电压
点烟器插座的典型输出电压为12V（汽车）或24V（卡车），因此输入电压供应对于车载充电器应支持至少36V。输出电压根据USB组织，USB端口的VBUS输出电压应为5V（标称值），容差±5%（4.75V至5.25V），因此，车载充电器的输出电压应遵循此要求。输出电流PI5USB266可以支持苹果2.1A充电模式，因此汽车上每个端口的最大输出电流充电器应支持2.1A，这意味着总电流应约为4.2A。
