FC-13A晶体非常适合用在汽车导航系统设计中的应用，是一种具有优异的频率性能和AEC-Q200标准认证的汽车工业级高精度晶体,FC-13A是一款尺寸为3.2 × 1.5 × 0.9mm，频率范围32.768KHz耐高温晶振，频率温度系数仅为-0.04ppm/℃，并且其老化率仅为±3x106/年，具有较长的使用寿命。在汽车导航系统的设计原理中，FC-13A车载晶振，接入单片机后为单片机提供精准的时钟基准，MCU可以外接LCD显示器，内存等器件，完成仪表的指示功能。晶振需要配置滤波电容使用，FC-13A晶振可配置9pF、12.5pF的负载电容使用，驱动功率为1uW，符合汽车低功耗的应用需求。
