　　特高压输电相比于常规输电，有着远距离、容量大、损耗小的优势，有利于我国的能源战略新发展，可以有力的促进我国电力能源的地区配置，加快社会经济的发展。建设特高压电网不仅可提高我国的电力建设水平，还能为电丁制造业带来产业型的大发展。而800 kV直流输电技术领域仍处于研究阶段，对于特高压直流电力传输而言，迫切需要一种安全系数更高的控制保护系统。一般情况下，特高压直流输电使用的接线是通过两个12脉动换流器相串联而组成的一个单极。在采用此类接线模式下，要求提高直流系统安全有效性，需要运用更为先进的控制保护手段。包括系统的整体结构设计，控制策略的逻辑设定，控制方式的设置及保护配的优化和改良。
