　　减振器是车辆悬架系统的重要部件之一，其性能对车辆的操纵稳定性和平顺性有很大影响。而传统的被动悬架由于其弹性元件和减振器的参数不能改变，因而不能使汽车的平顺性和操纵稳定性同时达到最优，要同时满足两项性能的基本要求就必须进行一定的折衷。虽然目前在引进国外先进技术方面做了许多工作，同时我国在对采用可变阻尼减振器的半主动悬架及其控制方面也做了大量工作，但将半主动悬架成功地用于实车却很少，目前国产的各种轿车，包括引进技术或中外合资生产的各种型号的轿车基本上都是采用传统的被动悬架。在半主动悬架的研究与实际运用方面，我国和世界上的一些发达国家相比还存在不少的差距。因此，研制出性能价格比相对较高、适用于普通汽车半主动悬架的可变阻尼减振器，对推进我国半主动悬架技术的进步和实车应用方面具有十分重要的意义。
